Connect your social accounts to your Workspace

Learn how to connect your social media accounts to your Workspace and find platform-specific setup guides.

Ready to start scheduling content? First, you’ll need to connect your social media accounts to your Workspace. Since each platform works a little differently, you can use the guides below to connect the right account.

Before you connect

To connect an account successfully, you’ll need to make sure that you have the correct permissions and access to the channel and account you’re trying to connect to. If you’re missing these, the account will not appear as an option when you try to connect in HeyOrca.

Required access by platform

Facebook Page

  • You must have Full control (Admin access) on the Facebook Page.

⚠️ Even if you have Business Portfolio access or permissions in Meta Business Suite, the Page won’t connect without Page-level Full control. You can verify your access permissions by following the steps on Facebook’s Help Centre.

Instagram

  • Must be a Business (Professional or Creator) account

  • Be linked to a Facebook Page

  • Have Full control (Admin access) on the Facebook Page connected to the Instagram account.

LinkedIn | Personal Account

  • You must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.

LinkedIn | Company Page

  • You must be a Content Admin or a Super Admin for the Company Page

TikTok

  • You must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.

YouTube

Google My Business

  • You must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.

Pinterest

  • You must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.

Threads

  • You must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.

MailChimp

  • You will need login access to the account you are trying to connect to in HeyOrca.


Connecting a new social account in HeyOrca

  1. From your Workspace, click Settings from the left-side menu.

  2. You’ll be brought to the Integrations tab. Select the tab for the type of account you’re going to connect: Social account, Ad account or Emails.

  3. Once you’ve selected the account type tab, click the +Add Account button.

  4. A new modal will appear showing the available integrations in HeyOrca. Locate the tile for the integration you want to connect and click Connect.

  5. On the next page, you’ll be prompted to continue setting up the account through the integration itself. This page will remind you of the permissions you need for successful connection. When you’re ready to connect, click Continue.

From here, you’ll be brought into the platform specific connection steps. These will vary depending on the channel you’re connecting so follow the steps below for each platform’s set-up specifications.

Not seeing a channel you use?

Need a channel HeyOrca doesn't directly support? A Placeholder account lets you plan, schedule, and get approvals for that content right in HeyOrca. Five minutes before the scheduled time, you'll get an email and/or mobile notification with the full post — just click Download to Publish to grab the media and caption, then post it manually on the platform.
