Due to TikTok’s API requirements, in order to publish directly to TikTok, you must:
Be logged into the account you’re trying to connect
Connect your TikTok account

From your workspace, go to Settings.
From the Integrations tab, click Add account.
Find the TikTok tile from the Integration options and click Connect
Click Continue from the connection page, then follow the authorization prompts from TikTok.
Supported Post types
With HeyOrca, you can plan and publish video posts directly to TikTok. Here are the specs for publishing to TikTok though HeyOrca:
Recommended Aspect Ratio: 9:16 or 1:1
Recommended Resolution: 540 pixels and above
Video Duration: Between 1-600 seconds
Maximum Size: 1 GB
Descriptions of up to 2200 characters
👀 FYI: HeyOrca currently does not support image/carousel posts for TikTok. This is an API limitation.
Add a custom thumbnail to your TikTok post
A custom thumbnail helps you control how your video appears in your TikTok grid on your profile, keeping your content on-brand. You can upload your own cover image or choose a frame from your video to help your community instantly recognize and engage with your content.
Custom thumbnails are available for directly published TikTok videos
Thumbnail changes must be made before the video is published
To select your custom thumbnail:
Open your TikTok post and navigate to the preview carousel under the post preview. Click on the three dots on the corner of the video you want to add a thumbnail to.
Click Edit
You can either:
Upload a custom thumbnail by selecting a file from your device, choosing an image from a connected platform, or dragging and dropping an image into the upload window.
Use the slider to scroll through your video to select a thumbnail from the video.
Once your thumbnail has been either uploaded or selected, click Save.
Your custom thumbnail will now appear in the video preview.
👀 FYI: Videos published through HeyOrca use TikTok’s API, which means some thumbnail behaviour may still vary slightly once published on TikTok.
Limitations
Trending audio and music
TikTok’s trending audio and licensed music library is not available through their API. To add trending audio to a post scheduled in HeyOrca, set it to notification publishing to post natively in the TikTok app.
Image Posts
While TikTok allows for image carousel posts natively in their app, their API limits the ability to do this in third-party platforms like HeyOrca and there is a limit of 1 media for TikTok posts for this reason. To publish image carousels to a post scheduled in HeyOrca, set it to notification publishing to post natively in the TikTok app.
