Connect your Pinterest account
Once you're logged in to the Pinterest account you want to connect to, you can set up your Pinterest account in HeyOrca.
From your workspace, go to Settings.
From the Integrations tab, click Add account.
Find the Pinterest tile from the Integration options and click Connect
Click Continue from the connection page, then follow the authorization prompts from Pinterest. Allow access to Pinterest by clicking Give Access.
Once your account is successfully connected, go back to your workspace Settings > Integrations to check notification settings.

Pinterest recommends a 2:3 aspect ratio (e.g. 1,000 x 1,500 pixels). Other ratios may cause your Pin to truncate, or may negatively impact performance.
FYI 👀: Due to API limitations, Pins with video are not supported. You can still plan and schedule video posts for Pinterest using notification publishing.
Create a Pin
1. Create a post from your Calendar. Select Pinterest as your social channel and add your image content.
2. On the Post Editor modal, add a heading, a URL link, and/or add this Pin to an existing board on your account.
3. When your draft is ready, select the next stage you’d like to move it to.
⚠️ Descriptions have a character count of 500 characters.
If you're over the character count, the character counter will have a minus symbol (-) beside the number, signifying how many characters need to be edited out. The post will fail to publish if it's over the character count.
Best Practices for publishing on Pinterest in HeyOrca
Visuals come first and strong graphics make the biggest impact.
Be sure to inspire and be helpful as most Pinterest users are on there to discover new ideas and products.
