On April 6, 2026, the X (formerly Twitter) integration will be removed from HeyOrca. These changes come after the API access required to sustain direct publishing and reporting saw a steep price increase that is unsustainable for us or fair to pass on to our customers.
We’ve listed the important dates related to this change, as well as all information for your X profiles.
Key Dates
As of Monday, March 2, 2026 (12 pm EST):
New HeyOrca accounts made after this date will not be able to connect X profiles.
As of Monday, April 6, 2026 (12 pm EST):
Existing X accounts will no longer be able to be reauthorized.
Any posts scheduled for or after this date will not automatically/directly publish.
Analytics will no longer be available for X accounts.
Your X account will be automatically converted to a placeholder account.

Any scheduled posts that were previously scheduled to existing X profiles will no longer be able to automatically publish as of April 6. The posts themselves will remain on the calendar, and you can still schedule these for notification publishing with our placeholder accounts!
If you need to, you can export any content from your calendar into a XLS file.

Yes. All existing X profiles will be automatically converted to placeholder accounts on April 6. These placeholder accounts will allow you to continue using our approval flows and notification publishing feature to schedule and publish your X content manually.
