How to Create Posts on the Mobile App

Create content on the go in just a few clicks with the HeyOrca mobile app!

The HeyOrca mobile app gives the ability to save time and quickly create posts and schedule content directly from your mobile device while on the go.

When creating a post on the mobile app, you can select uploaded media, leave comments, and schedule your content for approval or publishing for your desired channel.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the newest version of the HeyOrca mobile app. To get the most up-to-date version of the mobile app, visit the App store on iOS devices and the Google Play Store on Android devices. In the search bar, search ‘HeyOrca’ to download the app.

Creating a New Post

Step 1: open the HeyOrca app

Start by opening the HeyOrca mobile app, logging into your account and going into your feed.

Step 2: press create post

Select the New Post button located on the bottom right of your screen indicated by the plus icon and select Create a Post

Step 3: add your post details

Once create a post is selected, you'll be brought to the New Post page. Here you can add in the relevant details to make your post!

Start by selecting the social account you want to create the post for.

Next, choose your desired publishing date.

From there, select your media. You can access and add already uploaded media from the library belonging to the calendar your chosen account is on.

The ability to upload media directly to the mobile app is coming soon!

Finally, add your post caption to wrap up your post.

To finish the process, select Create Post. Once done, you'll be brought to your Post Overview.

From here, you can choose to change the post stage to Approved, to publish your content, or Awaiting Approval to add your team and clients!

You can also leave comments on your post in the comments tab on the right of the page.

Previewing Your Content

Want to see how your post will look when posted? Click on the Previews tab to get an idea of how your content will appear when the post is published on your selected platform!
