The HeyOrca mobile app allows you to access your calendars and key features while on the go. You can create new posts, edit existing posts, leave comments, update post stages and more! This article covers how to create and edit content on the mobile app.
Before you start
Ensure you have the latest version of the HeyOrca mobile app. If you need help downloading the app, view Download the HeyOrca mobile app for more details.
Ensure you're logged into the correct account.
Creating a new post
Open the HeyOrca app
Start by opening the HeyOrca mobile app, logging into your account and going into the calendar you want to create or edit content on.
Press create post
Select the New Post button located on the bottom right of your screen indicated by the plus icon and select Create a post
Add your post details
After pressing Create a post, you can add in your post details. Choose from one more social accounts, the scheduling date and time, your caption and media.
Media can be uploaded directly from your media library, or from your phones photos app. PDF files can also be directly uploaded to posts or your library.
To finish the process, select Create Post. Once done, you'll be brought to your Post Overview.
Selecting More Options will open up additional fields for specific channels, such as Publishing Notes or First Comments.
You can also leave comments for your internal team and clients.
When using bulk create for multiple channels at once, the scheduled time, caption and images will be added to each channel. Click Edit Next Post to cycle through the created posts to make any specific changes.
Once completed, you can change your post stage to Awaiting Approval send your content for approval, or Approved to have it publish at the scheduled time.
Content can also be published right away by changing the post stage to Publish Now.
Edit a Post
To edit a created post, simply click into the post to open up the editing screen.
Preview your content
Want to see your content will look when published? Click into the media to open the post preview.
