Shorten links in your posts

Make long links shorter in your captions using the Shorten Links button

  1. In the post editor, paste the link you want to include in your post.

  2. Click off to the side of the text box to save your changes.

  3. Click the Shorten Links icon in the edit bar.

After the link preview generates, you should now be able to see a shortened version of the link.

A link being added to the post editor modal in HeyOrca. The post says "This caption is going to need a link so I'm going to put one in here to show you how to use the shorten link button" with a long link added. The cursor moves to the Shorten Link button and the long link is shortened.

👀 FYI: Our link-shortener integration is only able to shorten the link. You will not be able to track any analytics via our in-app link shortener.

To track analytics you will need to create the link in another link shortener tool and use the links in HeyOrca.
