Each of your client calendars in HeyOrca will have its very own Media Library.
Your media library is where all your images, videos, and GIF that are uploaded to your calendar are stored! Additionally, you can upload media files directly into your client's library to store until you're ready to use them.
Media added to a post will automatically will be stored in your library along with your content as well.
Add Media to Your Library
Step 1: Go to a calendar’s media library by selecting a calendar and clicking the Library button on the navigation bar and selecting the Library button.
You can upload media to your library by pressing the upload button, or by directly dragging and dropping content to your library!
Drag and Drop Media to Upload
To drag and drop your content, simply drag it into your media library from your desktop!
Pro Tip: Drag and Drop can also be used when creating a post directly on your calendar!
Manually Upload
Once you’re on the library page, you can upload images, videos, and GIFs by clicking the Upload Media button in the top-right corner.
You can choose to upload media from your PC as well as the various platforms that are supported by HeyOrca!
Once your media assets are stored in your library, you can filter them by file type and search based on the name, tag, and description of a file:

Every client is unique, so their media library should be too! Each calendar comes with a media library to store any media you want to use for content.
You can also track if media has been previously used in content and organize your media with tags.
How to Use Media Library Folders
With Media Library Folders, you can easily and effectively organize your media, and find what you need even faster!
To create a new folder, click Create Folder on the top right of your media library navigation bar.
Once your folder has been created, you can name it as you'd like and once saved it'll appear at the top of your library under the drop-down titled Folders.
If you want to rename your folder, you can do so by clicking the three ellipses on the folder.
Now, with your media library folder created, try out the following actions to organize your media!
Drag and Drop media into a folder by clicking and holding your mouse on the picture or video, and dragging it into the folder of your choice.
You can also bulk drag and drop multiple files by holding the Command (or Control) key, then clicking on the photos you want to select!
Restore media back out of a folder, simply drag it out of the folder and onto the library!
Use the Folder navigation to navigate back to another folder or the main media library.
Use Bulk Actions to move media into folders by selecting multiple posts using your Shift or Ctrl/Cmd keys and selecting bulk actions on the top nav bar. Select the appropriate folders that you'd like to move your media to
Pro Tip: The media folder thumbnails allow you to quickly view the last media that was added to your library!
Archive Media and Folders
Keeping your media library organized has never been so easy! If you've got media and folders that you'd like to remove from your media library, you can archive these items and move them to the designated archive folder!
To archive media or folders, select the ellipses on the content you'd like to archive and press Archive.
The selected items will be moved to the Archive folder!
To restore your archived content, you can go into the Archive folder and select Restore on the items you'd like to bring back to your media library!
Pro Tip: You can also use bulk actions to archive and restore multiple pieces of media and folders at once!
Press CTRL on your keyboard on Windows and Command on Mac to select multiple posts at once.
Once selected, choose Archive from the bulk actions menu.
To bulk restore items, select the media you'd like to restore and choose Restore from the bulk actions menu!
The content will be moved back to your library!
