Making Edits and Approving Content on the Mobile App

Make changes to your content and approve it on the go using the HeyOrca mobile app!

With HeyOrca's mobile app, you can make quick edits to your content and approve it on the go! In this guide, we'll cover what you can edit, how to do it and how to approve content!

Before you start:

  • Ensure you have the most up to date version of the HeyOrca mobile app. You can download the app via the App store for iOS devices, or the Play Store for Android devices

  • Ensure you're logged into the correct account

What can I edit?

You can easily and quickly make changes to your content and change the following:

  • The scheduled publishing time

  • Your post stage (Draft, Awaiting Approval, Approve, Revise, Publish Now)

  • Your post caption

  • Approve content that is Awaiting Approval

  • Changing the social channel and uploading media - Coming soon!

How to Edit a Post

Start by heading into your HeyOrca app, and selecting the desired calendar using the left hand side panel.

Next, click into the post you want to edit. From there, click the Edit button located on the top right of the page.

You'll then be brought to the edit screen! Here is where you can make changes to your content by clicking on the respective fields.

You can change the publishing time, the post stage and make edits to the caption!

Editing the social channel and uploading additional media are coming soon!

Once you're done with your edits, click the back arrow to save your changes.

Your content has now been edited and saved! The edits will also be reflected on the HeyOrca browser app to ensure your team is kept up to date.

How to Approve a Post

If a post is in Awaiting Approval, yourself or your clients can easily approve it on the go!

Click Edit to open up the editing screen.

At the top, you'll see the option to either Approve the post, or reject it and set it to Revise for your team to make additional changes

Once your content post is approved, it'll publish at it's scheduled time!

If your client pressed Revise, you'll be notified via email, and the post will be updated on the calendar to indicate changes are needed.
