Create your first workspace

Learn how to set up your first HeyOrca workspace.

Welcome to HeyOrca! This article covers how to set up your first workspace (previously calendar) on your trial.

Set up your account

Step 1: Enter in your first and last name to set up your account

Here's where you can enter your company name and details to finish set up your account!

Step 3: Enter your workspace's name


Your workspace is your content planning and scheduling dashboard, where you can manage all of your posts. Here, you can enter the name you'd like to give your workspace! This can be your client's brand name, company name, or anything else you'd like!

Step 4: Connect your first account

After entering your workspace name, you'll be prompted to connect your first account. Select the blue connect button to choose a channel type.

You'll need to ensure that you have the required access to the account you're trying to connect.

  • Facebook: be an admin/owner with full control

  • Instagram: the account will need to be set to a Business or Creator profile and connected to a Facebook page where you’re an admin/owner with full control

  • LinkedIn Company: be a content admin or a super admin

  • YouTube Shorts: be an owner of the account

  • TikTok, X, LinkedIn Personal, Instagram Personal, Google My Business, Pinterest - must be logged in to the account you are trying to connect to HeyOrca in your browser

Once your account is connected, you can add additional accounts, or proceed to planning your first post!
