For Professional Instagram accounts, you can customize your publishing options per post type for Instagram posts within your Settings page!

Customizing your publishing options will allow you to select a default publishing method for Instagram posts, reels and stories! You can choose whether to have your content be published directly to go straight to Instagram, or via a mobile or email notification if you'd like to post natively to add trending audio and effects.

This will allow you and your team to have even more control over how your Instagram content is published!

Step 1: Go to the Settings tab located on the left hand side of your HeyOrca! dashboard. Navigate to the Settings tab from your workspace (formerly calendar) by clicking the gear icon located on the left hand side.

Step 2: Open the Publishing Settings menu

Once you’re in the Settings page, locate the Instagram you’d like to change the settings for. Use the arrow on the left of the account to open up the publishing settings drop down menu.

Step 3: Select the default publishing method for Instagram posts, stories and reels.

Within the drop-down menu, you can select the default publishing option for your Instagram posts, stories and reels.

For Instagram posts and reels, you have the option to select direct publishing, which will automatically publish your Instagram posts and reels. If you'd like to add trending audio or effects, you can select the publishing via HeyOrca mobile app or email notifications!

This will send a notification to the HeyOrca Mobile App or email 5 minutes before the scheduled publishing time. You can then upload the reel to Instagram from your mobile device and add the trending audio.

Step 4: Select Your Notification Receiver.

You can select the default notification receiver for your posts by using the drop-down menu located on the left hand side!

Similar to Instagram's publishing settings, TikTok can also be adjusted to notify you via notifications when you'd like to publish natively on the platform as well as through the mobile app! TikTok Direct Publishing is also available for accounts connected using the Business Option in HeyOrca!
