Track brand mentions and advocacy with Brand Monitoring

Track mentions, engagement, sentiment, and advocacy across platforms to see who’s talking about your brand and understand how your community feels.

HeyOrca’s Brand Monitoring Report makes it simple to understand how your brand is being discussed across social media. With this report, you can track mentions, engagement, sentiment, and advocacy of your brand name, account handles, event hashtags, or other keywords, and identify your most active community members.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to generate your Brand Monitoring Report and what insights you’ll find inside.


View your Brand Monitoring Report

To begin, head over to your Reports dashboard and select Brand Monitoring.

Next, choose your desired date range and platforms (we currently support Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn Business accounts for brand monitoring), then enter any keywords you’d like to track.


By default, your brand name and social handles will appear, but you can also use this to filter your comments and mentions for things like event names or hashtags!


​Vibe Check

Get an instant sense of how your community feels. This section gives you a quick overview of the general sentiment behind the comments and mentions your content receives.

You can hover on the Vibe Check meter to see the number of comments/mentions for each section of the meter.

​​Total Profile Views

This section shows the total number of views across all selected social accounts for your selected date range. Profile views are a great indicator of overall interest in your brand and can help you connect spikes in visibility with campaigns, mentions, or trending conversations.


Total Brand Engagements

Here you’ll see the total number of comments and mentions across all selected social accounts. This metric helps you quickly understand the overall level of interaction your brand is generating across platforms.



Mentions by Platform

This section shows you a breakdown of where your brand is being talked about most often. You’ll see how many mentions appeared on each connected platform, helping you understand which channels drive the most conversation.


Most Engaged Community Members

Here you’ll find a list of the people who mention or interact with your brand most frequently. This makes it easy to spot your biggest advocates and community champions, or to identify highly active users you may want to engage with further.

Sentiment Over Time

Track how sentiment shifts across your selected date range with a visual timeline. This helps you pinpoint when positive or negative trends emerge and align them with campaigns, posts, or external events.

Trending Keywords

See the words your community uses most frequently! This word cloud highlights repeated terms from comments on your posts and color-codes them by sentiment, giving you an at-a-glance understanding of recurring themes.

Advocacy Wall

The advocacy wall gives you a consolidated feed of every mention and comment tied to your keywords within the selected date range. Think of it as your all-in-one view of the conversations happening around your brand! The comments and mentions are analyzed for sentiment and tagged as positive, neutral, or negative.

You can also adjust this wall to show only mentions or comments, and easily adjust any tag by clicking it and selecting a new sentiment if something needs correcting. Marking a comment as spam will remove it from your Advocacy Wall!

Sentiment Data is available starting in November 2025. Generating reports for previous periods will require manually tagging the sentiment!


Export Report

When you’re ready to share your report, you can download it as a PDF or XLS file, or send it directly from HeyOrca. Click the Share button to open your options.


From here, you’ll be able to:

  • Download the report as a PDF or XLSX

  • Send the report as a one-time email directly to your client or team

  • Schedule the report as an automated email that will be delivered on a recurring basis
