Track key metrics for LinkedIn Personal Profiles

Learn how to generate and review report data for yours and your clients personal LinkedIn posts using HeyOrca’s reporting tools.

Updated this week

HeyOrca makes it easy to review the performance of your personal LinkedIn content. With LinkedIn Personal Reports, you can now track how your individual posts are performing over time, access key engagement metrics, and share results with your team or clients. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to generate your personal report and what insights you can expect to find.

View your LinkedIn Personal Report

To begin, head over to your Reports dashboard and select LinkedIn Personal.

Next, choose the personal LinkedIn account you'd like to view and select your desired date range.

Profile Overview

This section gives you a snapshot of your LinkedIn profile’s growth and reach. Including Key Performance Metrics, showing your total number of connections and the change in connections over the selected time range, as well as graphs to visualize how your connections have changed over time

You can hover over each metric for a quick explanation:

  • Total Connections – The number of connections your profile has as of the last day in your selected time period

  • Change in Connections – The increase or decrease in your total connections during the selected period

Connection data is only available for periods when your LinkedIn account is connected and authorized in HeyOrca. If your account was connected partway through your selected date range or needs reauthorization, connection data may be incomplete for that time.

Post Performance Overview

This section gives you a quick overview of how your content is performing. You’ll see key performance metrics such as totals for comments, reactions, and the number of posts published during your selected time period.

You can view your Post Performance as a graph to see how your engagement has changed over time, with separate lines measuring comments and reactions.

You’ll also find a breakdown of the different types of reactions your posts received, such as likes, celebrations, and hearts, so you can get a better sense of what’s connecting with your audience.

This section concludes with a breakdown of your published content, including the total number of text based posts, image posts, video posts and PDF posts shared.

Post Performance

If you keep scrolling, you’ll see all your published posts displayed as individual cards. Each card includes the post content, any attached media, the number of comments it received, and a breakdown of all reactions. This section is helpful for spotting trends in your content and figuring out what types of posts are getting the most engagement.

You can sort your posts by your best and worst performing posts by sorting criteria such as Engagement, Comments, and Date Published.
