How to add relevant holidays to your calendar

Holidays enable your team to stay on top of relevant dates and opportunities in your selected regions.

What are Holidays in HeyOrca?

Holidays are embeddable calendar events that can be added to your HeyOrca calendars. They serve as a reminder of notable holidays to ensure that your team never misses a relevant marketing opportunity by always being visible in your calendar!

Add holidays to your calendar

Step 1: Head over to your calendar settings page

Go to the calendar settings page located on the left hand side of your calendar.

Step 2: Click on the Holidays tab

Once in the calendar settings page, click on the Holidays tab.

Step 3: Choose holidays based on relevant locations

With Holidays, you can select relevant holidays for nearly any location in the world! Use the dropdown menu or search bar to find your desired locations and add them to your calendar by selecting them.

Hovering over the Holiday tile will display additional contextual information about the specific holiday.

Customize the calendar holiday color

The appearance for holidays can be customized to match your team's brand and needs. Customization can be done by clicking on the colored icon on the right of your added holiday. Choose from the provided color options, or add in a custom color using the picker.

Remove holidays from your calendar

To remove added regional holidays, press the delete icon located on the right side of the holiday. Once pressed, the added holiday set will be removed from your calendar and the holidays tab.
