What Metrics Can I View in Reports?

Curious about what metrics are displayed in your HeyOrca Reports? Check out our handy guide below which goes over our various reporting metrics!

How to Generate and View Your Reports

Before you get started, it's always good to make sure that your accounts are connected to HeyOrca, or don't need to be reauthorized.

To start using the reporting feature, head over to the grey navigation bar in the calendar, and click the (zigzag arrow) icon on your grey navigation bar:

Use the date range selector located on the top right of the page to select the date range you'd like to generate the report for.

The reporting tool can generate a number of reports based on your engagement, impressions and page likes, as well as paid impressions and likes insights.

Hover over a section of the graph, and you will see the break down for that particular report for the date:

How to use the Reports Summary in HeyOrca

With HeyOrca’s Report Summary, you’ll be able to:

  • Easily see your Key Metrics to report on to save time

  • Learn about your performance, and monitor increases or decreases over time

Here’s how to use your Report Summary:

Step 1: In your HeyOrca Calendar, navigate to your Reports section on the gray navigation bar.

Step 2: Select the Report you wish to view from the reports dashboard, or on the reports left navigation bar.

Step 3: Your Reports Summary will be located at the top of the report you choose.

Hovering over the Information Icon will show you how these numbers are calculated from the report.

Impressions: The Number of Times your page content was displayed

Engagement Rate: The percentage of people who engaged with your posts based on the number of people that saw the post

Story Impressions: The number of times your story content was displayed

Change in Followers: The difference in the number of people who follow you and who unfollow you.


Facebook Reports

When generating Facebook account reports, you will be able to view your report for Engagements, Impressions, Page Likes, and Top Posts.

Overview

The overview section of your Facebook report will display the Impressions, Engagement Rate, Total Engagement and Change in Page Likes for your selected date range.

Page Engagements

The Page Engagements graph will display your Reactions, Comments, Shares, Clicks, and Page Actions, along with the total of these various engagement metrics.

Page Impressions

The Page Impressions graph will display your organic impressions, paid impressions and the total impressions for the chosen date range.

Page Likes

The Page Likes graph allows you to see your Organic Page Likes, Paid Page Likes, Page Unlikes, Changes in Page Likes and the Total for the chosen time period.

Easily see how audience is respond to your page, and view the growth of your page directly from your reports!

Top Posts

The Top Posts section displays your top performing content based on your chosen metric type:

You can use the drop down menu to choose the metric you'd like to sort by. You can also choose to sort your content by Best to Worst, or Worst to Best

Instagram Business Reports

Your net follower growth, impressions, and engagements can be tracked through our Instagram Business reports. You will need to have an Instagram Business account connected to HeyOrca in order to generate these reports.

Overview

The overview section for Instagram reports will display your Impressions, Engagement Rate, Story Impressions and Change in Followers for the chosen date range.

Net Follower Growth

The Net Follower Growth graph will display your Followers Gained, Followers Lost, Change in Followers and Total Followers for the chosen date range.

Your Instagram engagement totals will include likes, comments, and saves.

Impressions

The impressions graph will display your Impressions for your Instagram account for the chosen date range

The number of times your posts, stories, reels, videos and live videos were on screen, including in ads (includes both paid and organic).

Please Note: That the impressions metric is different from reach metric, and may include multiple views of your content by the same account.

Engagements

The engagement graph will display the total number of actions users take on your Instagram account posts. This includes likes, comments, saves, shares, story replies along with the total for the chosen date range.

Stories Performance

The Stories Performance graph displays the Impressions, Reach, Replies, Exits, Taps Back and Taps Forward on your Instagram stories.

Stories that have fewer than 5 impressions will not appear on the graph due to Instagram's limitations

Top Stories & Top Posts

The stop stories section will display your top performing stories and allow you to sort by Impressions, Reach, Replies, Taps Forwards, Taps Back, Exits and by Date. You can also sort by Best to Worst, and Worst to Best

Similar to the Top Stories, the Top Posts section will display your top performing posts for your chosen date range. You can sort your Top Posts by Engagements, Comments, Likes, Saves and by Date.

You can also sort your Top Posts by Best to Worst, and Worst to Best


LinkedIn Reports

Overview

The overview section for your LinkedIn Reports will display your Impressions, Engagement Rate, Post Clicks, and Audience Growth for the chosen date range.

*LinkedIn's API only allows up to 1 year of metrics to be collected from the API.

Audience Growth

The Audience Growth graph shows the number of people who followed your page for your chosen date range.

This section includes both your Organic Followers Gained and your Paid Followers Gained.

Impressions

The impressions graph displays organic impressions gathered on your page for the chosen date range. The graph will display both your Impressions, as well as your Unique Impressions.

Engagements

The engagement graph for your LinkedIn reports displays your Likes, Comments, Shares, Post Clicks (all) and the Total of these engagements for your date range.

Post Performance

The Top Posts section will display your top performing posts for your chosen date range. You can sort your Top Posts by Engagements, Like, Shares, Clicks, Comments, Date

You can also further sort your top performing content to rank from Best to Worst, or Worst to Best to discover actionable insights!


X Reports

Overview

Your X (Twitter) Report overview section will display the Total Engagements, Likes, Retweets and Change in Followers for your selected date range.

Net Follower Growth

The Net Follower Growth displays the total follower growth and the Change in Followers over the period of time selected for your account.

Engagements

The engagement graph displays Likes and Retweets along with the Total Engagement by users taken on your X content.

Top Posts

The Post Performance section will display your top performing posts for your chosen date range. You can sort your Top Posts by Engagements, Like, Shares, Clicks, Comments, Date

TikTok Reports

Profile Overview

The overview section for your TikTok Reports will display your key metrics including Post Views, Engagement Rate, Total Engagement and Change in Followers

Net Follower Graph

The net follower graph displays the growth of your TikTok followers over the selected time.

Profile Engagement

The Profile Engagement graph displays the total number of actions users take on your TikTok account. This includes Likes, Comments, and Shares and Total Engagement

Post Views

The Post Views graph displays the total number of times your TikTok account's posts have been viewed. A user swiping away and swiping back will count as another view. If a user reaches the end of a video and it starts over, that will not be counted as another view.

Profile Views

The Profile View Graph shows the total number times users have viewed your TikTok profile page.

Post Performance Overview

Post Engagement, Reach, Views

The post performance overview will show your Post Engagment, Reach and Views for the select time duration in the Post Performance Summary.

Post Engagement

The Post Engagement Graph shows the total number of actions users take on your TikTok posts. This includes likes, comments, and saves.

Post Views

Post Views display the total number of all views and unique views on your posts. A user swiping away and swiping back will count as another view, but will not increase reach. If a user reaches the end of a video and it starts over, that will not be counted as another view.

Top Performing Posts

The post performance section of your Cross Channel Reports shows you your top performing content for your selected platforms. You'll be able to easily see your best performing content across all channels, right within your reports dashboard.

Facebook Competitors Reports

The Facebook Competitor Reports show your content performance and brand's growth on Facebook compared to your selected competitors.

Facebook Page Engagements

Compare Engagements on your Facebook accounts with your selected competitor accounts.

Facebook Page Fans

Compare the number of likes on your Facebook accounts with your selected competitor accounts. The number of page fans is equal to the number of people who have liked your page.

Published Posts

Instagram Business Followers

Cross Channel Reports

Cross Channel Impressions

The impressions graph within the Cross Channel Reports shows your impressions for your Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn account as well as the Total Impressions for that date range.

The engagement graph displays engagement across your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X account along with the total engagements.

Cross-Channel Audience Growth

The audience growth graph displays the growth of your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X audience along with the Total growth.

Post Performance

The post performance section of your Cross Channel Reports shows you your top performing content for your selected platforms. You'll be able to easily see your best performing content across all channels, right within your reports dashboard.

You can sort your top performing posts across your channels by Engagement, Likes and Date!
