Want to customize who sees your LinkedIn content? Now you can with LinkedIn Location Targeting

Updated over a week ago

When creating and publishing LinkedIn content, you can target it to specific audiences by applying location targeting directly in HeyOrca! This guide covers how to apply location targets, and the requirements to do so.

LinkedIn requires your targeted locations must have 300 followers in them

Create a new LinkedIn post

Start by creating a new LinkedIn post by pressing Create Post. Next, add in your relevant post content including your media, caption and anything else you'd like!

Target your locations

To apply a location target, select the location targeting icon on the toolbar to open up the selection menu.

Next, enter in your target locations. You can enter regions, such as North America, or choose from specific cities to target.

To save your selection, your targeted locations must have a minimum of 300 followers. If your selected locations don't meet this requirement, a banner will display indicating the criteria cannot be saved. Once the requirement is met, the banner will disappear.

Once you have met the requirements, you can select Update Targeting to save your changes!

Schedule your post for publishing

Once completed, you can schedule your content for publishing at your scheduled time!
