When publishing video posts to Instagram, you can select the thumbnail that will display on your post so that you can choose how your post will look on your profile, and stay on brand with the rest of your Instagram Grid!
Here’s how to select your Instagram Video thumbnails:
Step 1: Create a new Instagram Post on your calendar or edit an existing post, and then upload a video to your post.
Step 2: Click the three "ellipses" icon on your media thumbnail. This will let you use the sliding scale in order to select your preferred video thumbnail.
Step 3: Click “Save” to save your changes to your post, and you’re done!
You can edit the thumbnail at any time by repeating the steps above.
