If you're having trouble seeing your social accounts when you're connecting your pages for the first time, don't panic! We've compiled some helpful tips to help you connect your social profile to HeyOrca.

Facebook:

Removing HeyOrca from your Business Integrations may help! Sometimes HeyOrca doesn't sync up right away to any new pages that you may have connected. These would be the following steps that you would need to take:

Step 1: In your personal facebook settings, go to Business Integrations.

Step 2: Select HeyOrca:

Step 3: Click "Remove".

Step 4: Please make sure that the checkbox that say "also delete all posts" Remains unchecked so that your content is not affected. Then click remove again.

Step 5: Go back to HeyOrca and try connecting your account again.

Are you an admin on the Facebook page you are trying to connect?


Here are two ways to check that you are admin or editor of the Facebook page:

Step 1: Log into Facebook, go to the connected Facebook page, then click on settings, then click on page roles. There you should see your name listed under admin or editor.

Step 2: Log into Facebook, go to Business manager, then go to Business settings, then go to Pages, then find the correct page.

Instagram:

You will need to check the following if you don't see the correct Instagram account in your list of pages:


1. Is your Instagram account a business account?
2. Is your Instagram account connected to a Facebook Page?
3. Are you an admin or owner role on that Facebook Page?

LinkedIn

You should have admin access to your LinkedIn Business page in order to connect it. This would show under your profile settings:

Have you tried removing HeyOrca from your permitted settings? Here are the steps on how to do this:

Step 1: Go to https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/permitted-services

Step 2: Remove HeyOrca from the permitted services.

Step 3: Go back to your dashboard and try to reauthorize again.

Google My Business

Here are some things to check if you're not seeing the Google My Business page that you want to connect:

2. Is the business verified? It needs to be verified to show up in HeyOrca

3. Is it a hotel? There are different restrictions around hotels. Loop in Steph and/or JP for more information if the location is a hotel

Depending on the nature of your business or Google My Business page type, there may be some restrictions on what can be connected. We cannot connect chains to HeyOrca at this time.
