Navigation Bars

We moved the top navigation bar over to the left side of your workspace. This streamlines your view & makes room for a new top bar that you’ll use when you’re in your Calendar and Library pages.

You can even expand the left navigation bar to see more information when you need it, or keep it collapsed to let you focus on your work.

Calendar Navigation & Buttons

By putting the original top navigation bar over on the left, we’ve freed up more room on your screen to focus on your work. All your functional buttons have been pulled up to the top-right of the screen. You’ll also see the option to switch between monthly and daily views.

Sharing Posts from the Calendar

Post sharing has been updated in the Monthly view, and you can see how many posts and Event Strips you’ve selected to share. Check it out here in the comparison between the old Calendar view, and the new Monthly (and look below for the difference between the old Timeline and the new Daily view).

Timeline

The timeline view has always given you a daily list of all of your posts. With that in mind, we renamed the Timeline view to Day view - you’ll find it right next to the Monthly view on your Calendar.

Sharing Posts from the Daily View

Post sharing has also been updated for the Daily view, making it even easier to share posts with your clients and team. Select which posts you want to share, see how many posts you’ve selected, and click on the ‘Copy Link’ button.

Content and Media Library

Looking for your library? Along with the streamlined Calendar view, you’ll now find the ‘Library’ button has been replaced with a book stack icon. Click on one of your teams and you’ll see the book stack icon on the left navigation bar extension that will take you there. We have also improved the library screen; you’ll see the upload, filter, and search buttons are now in the top-right corner.

Team Settings

We’ve given you more ways to get to your team settings to better optimize your workflow. Hovering over the team tile on the dashboard and then clicking on the gear icon will still work, but since you’ve requested to be able to jump into settings right from the calendar or timeline view, now you can click on the gear icon on the left navigation bar extension when you’re already on the team page.

Profile, Notification, and Organization Settings, and Knowledge Base

We wanted to make sure you had easy access to changing your settings in HeyOrca 2.0, but we also get that you don’t need to focus on it every time you log in. With that in mind, we’ve moved your profile, notification, and organization settings to the bottom left corner of the left navigation bar. Just hover over your avatar and you’ll see all your options. And of course, we have kept the Knowledge Base button... 

...right next to your avatar, so you’ll still have quick access to all our ‘How-To’ guides!
